Choosing a School in London

London's school system is organised by borough, with each of the 32 boroughs managing its own admissions. Popular family boroughs include Richmond, Barnet, and Wandsworth in the south and west, with grammar schools concentrated in outer areas like Kingston, Sutton, and Redbridge. Catchment areas for sought-after schools can be extremely tight, sometimes just a few hundred metres, and house prices reflect this. Many families also consider the transition from primary to secondary carefully, as feeder school arrangements vary by borough.
