Find Radar Key (NKS) accessible toilets and ordinary public toilets across the UK on one map. Filter to show only Radar Key locations, or leave filters off to see every public toilet within your chosen radius. Each marker shows whether the toilet is free, wheelchair accessible, baby changing equipped, or part of the Changing Places network. Data comes from the Great British Public Toilet Map, covering over 14,000 locations across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

What is a Radar Key Toilet Map?

A Radar Key (National Key Scheme or NKS key) opens around 10,000 locked accessible toilets across the UK. The toilets are kept locked to prevent misuse and vandalism, so only keyholders can open them. The scheme is run by Disability Rights UK and keys cost around £5. You don't need proof of disability - the key is available to anyone who needs one.

This map plots Radar Key toilets alongside the wider UK public toilet network of over 14,000 locations. Use the Radar Key filter in the sidebar to show only NKS-compatible facilities, or leave filters off to see every public toilet near you. Each marker shows whether a toilet is free, wheelchair accessible, baby changing equipped, or part of the Changing Places network for users with complex needs.

For more on how the scheme works, who qualifies, and how to buy a key, see our Radar Key Guide.

Find Radar Key Accessible Toilets Near You

Select the Radar Key filter in the sidebar, then use "Use My Location" or enter a postcode to see every NKS-compatible accessible toilet within your chosen radius. Results are sorted by distance and include walking time. If you're planning a trip, increase the radius to 5 or 10 miles to see all keyed facilities in the area, not just the closest few.

Changing Places Toilets UK

Changing Places toilets are a step beyond standard accessible facilities. They include an adult-sized changing bench, a hoist, extra space for carers, and a privacy screen. There are over 1,800 Changing Places toilets across the UK, typically found in larger public buildings such as hospitals, shopping centres, motorway services, museums and city halls. Filter the map by "Changing Places" to see only these locations.

Free Public Toilets Across the UK

As well as Radar Key facilities, the map shows ordinary public toilets across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland - including free toilets in parks, transport hubs, shopping centres and high streets. Use the "Free entry only" filter to hide any paid facilities, or use the "All toilets" default to see every location with full facility details.
